I've decided to include this new section on my blog, called ShoePorn. Since I'm pretty much obsessed with shoes (and I did title the blog "forshoeswefall") thought it's about time that I feature some of the shoes/shoe brands that have been making me salivate the past few months.
For this first one, I'm featuring a local shoe brand called Gold Dot. Born just last July 2010; it's still a baby company compared to other shoe brands but they're already making a mark. The brand has already released several collections and show no signs of stopping. In fact, quite a few of their shoes were used by fellow local designers during the Philippine Fashion Week.
The company is owned by
Ms. Ally Duazo, who also designs the shoes herself (one talented and stylish lady, I tell ya) What's cool is that their price range isn't super high, roughly between $40 - $75 for their current releases. And if you think that's STILL steep, well why not check out the shoes for yourself and see what you'll get for your money's worth. :)

They still have so many wonderful shoes in their roster. The Gold Dot official website isn't up and running yet but it's in the works. For the meantime, you can check them out in

Multiply. You can also place your orders there. For some designs, MTOs (made-to-order) are available but it does take a bit longer.
