SHOEPORN: Heels, Creepers and Americana

Presenting my shoe lusts for the week. I'm not big on heels simply because I always run around everywhere and I don't exactly walk on paved roads most of the time, but these babies are worth lusting after.

Some people consider them ugly, but I seriously want me some creepers. When Prada came out with theirs, I honestly thought "why would you wear that thing? It's unflattering, it's too big... etc. etc." But since then I've had a change of heart and would GLADLY have one (or two) permanently live in my shoe closet.

Finally capping my shoe fascination with these babies from The Cobrasnake (Yes! He designed these!) and amazing shoe haven, Irregular Choice: The Americana wedges. Love, love, love and love.

Yeah, wouldn't mind getting pinned between the road and a truck too if I had these babies on. :) What about you guys, what shoes are you eyeing this time around? Cheers!

SHOEPORN: Two of My Favorite Things: Artwork + Shoes

Stumbled across these pictures while checking out Susie Q's blog Style Bubble. Can't help but share it. There's nothing more beautiful than shoes and  amazing artwork. The images are actually reinterpretations of old, classic paintings. They were taken by none other than Peter Lippmann. To add a little twist, they've incorporated Louboutin shoes/bags onto the portraits. Definitely gorgeous. Take a look for yourselves.
