From a Skirt to a Jacket

Today would have been a good day, had it not rained and sulked my mood. Normally, I enjoy the rain because then I could layer to no end without anybody looking weird at me. But it was actually one of those days where I was looking forward to seeing Mr. Sam Sunshine as opposed to Mr. Rod Rainy. Already had my outfit planned the night before, then I woke up and found out it was raining like crazy. Big bummer.

This was what I had initially wanted to wear:

Outfit #1:
Top - DIY cross leopard printed tee
Black pleated skirt - Vintage
Espadrille Wedge- Castañer

Since the rain was showing no signs of letting up, had to change plans and went with a more appropriate, less troublesome outfit instead.

Even though my face isn't showing it, I actually love this jacket a lot.

Outfit#2
Top - DIY cross leopard printed tee
Jeans - Jag
Utilitarian jacket - K-2
Shoes - Bought online
Bag - Thrifted

A word on the DIY shirt, it's actually a practice print. I found a spare teeny, tiny shirt in my sister's closet and thought I could use it for a test print. I actually like how the print turned out but I hardly wear tiny, body fit t-shirts anymore so I really can't wait until I make a new one on a much bigger size. I think this shirt was meant for kids.
