Sheer Florals and Trousers

Today is yet another errand day for me. Was contemplating on wearing a skirt but thought it would be best to wear something less feminine and more ideal for walking and walking some more. Here's what I put together:

I've had the trousers since last year but only wore them today. I'm petite so I'm always worried that non-skinny pants will simply swallow my already barely-there legs. hah! Anyway, thought might as well wear it once and see if it's "okay." Not really sure I love it but it was comfy.

The top was bought online from Jacqueline Jarethshop. She has a great collection of vintage items. Bought quite a few vintage dresses from her too. Will try and showcase it here when I can.You can visit her blog right here. Although it's hardly noticeable here, the top is actually sheer. It's very pretty and feels nice against the skin.

This is the thrifted bag that I handpainted. Will show you how I made this on the next post. :)

I know this picture is weird but yeah, I kinda like it, I think. Anyway, cheers!

Casual Crochet

Finally headed out today to do some errands. Intended to check out several items at the mall and to look at some shoes but ran out of time. Was rushing to get home because of work and before I get caught up in the rain. Thanks to the funky weather we've been having lately, even though it's summer, it's been raining hard during the afternoons. Anyway, here's what I wore.

The crochet top is thrifted. Always had a fascination with crocheted items especially recently. The top actually reminds me of a table mantel for some reason but it still looks pretty. On the other hand, I got the jeans about 4-5 years ago and found them again today. Miraculously, they still fit! Okay, so maybe I was constricting blood flow around my thigh area but I was still able to button it! hah

The bag was bought from eBay because I was craving for a fringe bag really bad. Couldn't find one locally so had to order. Speaking of bags, I'm preparing a DIY post about customizing/handpainting one of my bags. Hope you'll watch out for that. That's it for now. Cheers!
