Ichigo and a Satchel

Remember the blog giveaway that I won? Here's my prize!

Isn't it lovely? For months I've been eyeing this satchel bag because I know it would fit most of my stuff including my laptop. Just when I finally decided to order it, I received an email from Aisa of Drowning Equilibriums (check out her blog!) that I won her Ichigo giveaway! Of course, I put in this bag as my choice for the prize.

Before I show you pics of the store, here's a quick outfit shot of sorts. Took this shot against a wall of mirror in one of the stores. Just used my phone so forgive me for the quality and my stringy fringe. Badly need a haircut I know. lol

Gray shirt  - Charlotte Russe; Leopard cardi -  bought online;  Stud shorts - DIY (American Eagle) ;  Shoes - Chucks

I went with my friend, Noella, to claim my prize. Hope she doesn't kill me for posting her pic. :)

Here's the Ichigo store at Shoppesville in Greenhills.

This one's from their lower ground section. Love that little owl. They also have the same design on their shoe boxes. So cute. :)

Colorful handpainted bangles.

You can drop by their store at 3rd Floor Atrium Lane in Shoppesville Greenshills. They also have a mini display shop at Theatre Mall Greenhills, Lower Ground Floor, Missouri Lane L37. (The lady there is very nice. :) Also visit their Multiply site: http://ichigoshoes.multiply.com/. Thanks to Ms. Aisa and Ichigo again!

On a different note, hello to my new followers and to everyone that's dropped by the blog. Thank you so much! I promise to be more consistent with my updates this month now that a huge chunk of my "responsibilities" are finally put aside. Expect more DIYs, outfit posts and features in the next few weeks. Checking your blogs dearies! Cheers!

Bright Summer Florals

Thought I'd share what's been keeping me preoccupied as of late. Apart from work (which includes plenty of face time with the computer still) I've been trying to expand my little side project. For a while now, I've been customizing or handpainting shoes. Mostly sneakers or slip-on comfy shoes. Currently, I'm expanding and thinking of including ladies shoes as well. Posting several pics of my project here. Was thinking of putting up a tutorial but I realized that I failed to document the stages of the project. Figured, it's not gonna be much of a tutorial if I only have the "after" picture in tow.

So far, I've done one. I know, not much, right? Well, actually worked on a couple but only finished this one for now.

Yep, they're the ones posted on my banner pic. =) These shoes were for my cousin. Will be posting several more pretty soon and hopefully have them for sale at the store as well.

If you're curious on how they looked like originally, here's a similar pic that I found online. These aren't the actual shoes since I forgot to take a picture of it before I started painting. However, they looked quite alike.

Here are samples of the sneaker/slip-on shoes I've handpainted and customized.
